We took our telescope and binoculars over to our favorite neighborhood and shared the stars and planets with them as they had never before seen. We saw Jupiter and its moons, Venus, Mars, the Pleiades and Orion, and the Great Nebula in Orion, among other marvels from our Creator.
Around 25 people joined us for the event and it was an overwhelming success. Today in English class we will teach Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declared the glory of God.” We expect to have new students because of the astronomy event. New students, new disciples, new future leaders.
