“…To assist the people of French Polynesia in the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…”

In our previous newsletter I wrote: “Lord willing, in two months we will return to French Polynesia.”  The Lord is not willing, but He remains in control and continues to work in the hearts of the people of that land, preparing many for our return and resumption of ministry.  The virus, like every world crisis until the Lord’s return, will pass.  This time represents the single greatest opportunity for the Gospel I have seen in my lifetime of ministry, and it is no different in Tahiti and her isles as it is here in the United States.  But make no mistake: it is human nature to return to the former routine and forget the eagerness to seek the Lord that we see today.  To take advantage of what the Lord is doing, we have to return to our mission field while hearts are still tender.  And that is our plan.  When the borders reopen, and flights are once again available, we will re-book, re-organize, and go.  I am in contact with our friends and partners week by week, and they seem to share the same eagerness that we have concerning the virus-created opportunity.

Please pray for the timing of our return, and traveling mercies, from booking to actual travel.  As always, pray for the Holy Spirit’s ministry in our absence.  Also, please remember these continuing prayers, that: “our friends new and old would be kept safe from doubt, gossip, worry, and fear. Instead, that they might develop an eagerness to go forward with us into future ministry according to the Lord’s will, into broader audiences and deeper teaching and training.”
